Why We Give

Stewardship – first and foremost

It doesn’t happen only in the months of October and November. Stewardship isn’t some oddity on the calendar but it happens everyday by the work we do as the church.

When we drop off food to the food pantry, allow our church space to be used by AA groups, put solar panels on our roof to lower our carbon footprint, or provide our mission support for ministries outside our church or pay the bills – this is all part of stewardship.

Stewardship is our time, talent, and tithe – whenever you give of yourself, you are God’s hands here on earth.

Coming soon! Pastor Holly and long-time Stewardship Committee Chair (and current Sierra Pacific Synod Council Vice President) Gail Kiyomura talk stewardship.
